The conference this year have the extraordinary good fortune to not less than three Nobel laureates, joined the first of which is Prof. Robert J. Aumann of the Center for Rationality, Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Born in 1930 in Germany, Prof. Aumann fled with his family at the beginning of the Holocaust and was in New York, where Jewish day schools and received his degree from New York's City College, and has raisedDoctorate in mathematics from MIT. The following year he moved to Israel to join the Hebrew University's Department of Mathematics, and has up to now, more than 50 years later. Twenty years he co-founded the Centre for University of rationality. The center conducts research with the concepts of game theory, and its members come from nearly all disciplines within the university. Professor Aumann has written six books and dozens of newspapers and served as guest lecturer at some ofAmerica's best schools, including Princeton, Yale and Stanford. Among the numerous awards and honorary degrees he has received the most significant is the 2005 Nobel Prize for economics.
The second winner of the Nobel Prize at the conference is world renowned Professor John F. Nash, Jr. Professor Nash was born in West Virginia in the United States, the son of a teacher and an electrical engineer. He received his bachelor's and master's degree from Carnegie Institute of TechnologyPittsburgh, PA, after which he joined for his doctorate at Princeton University. We wrote a thesis entitled "Non-Cooperative Games" on the inside, who published a theorem that his name became known as the "set" Nash Equilibrium. He then worked as a teacher at Princeton, and MIT as a research assistant. During his illness prevented him from another publication, which still has an enthusiastic mathematicians and scientists. From the world of real estate is Prof. AxelWieandt, Hypo Real Estate Group CEO and Chairman of the Board. Prof. Wieandt is back to its roots in his participation in the conference, in which between his two masters and doctorate at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management.
